Please find the picture.It is the part which is a bit red and rusted and is broken in 2 parts.

I am not able to get it, but just a wild guess it might be a compressor.

Anew compressor will cost 10k ! Its better you stay away from getting it repaired.

Hi Varun560061,

The guy said that just if the broken "cabinet" is fixed,he would be able to service the AC, rest all is OK.He has given a quote of 1800 for AC servicing.

Currently my AC does work,i mean it gives me some cooling effect ..so I hope the compressor must be fine.10 K ?? Oh..I should be happy with the fresh Air...

However I am trying to check this cabinet stuff and would post my updates on the same.

So get it fixed if it is 1800 rs, here in B'lore they charge 1.5k for just filling up the gas.

Don't run the compressor with low gas, also when servicing tell him to fill up the compressor oil.
