Hi Guys,
Mods: Please merge or point me to the thread, if it already exists. Thanks.
I have been thinking about upgrading the low beam (H7, 55W, 12V Projector) headlights on my XUV 500. I am looking for a plug and play solution. No splicing or relays or White lights for me. Can the experts please help?
Thanks.

Warm regards
Shri

Re: XUV500 Low Beam Upgrade

Most simplest and effective way is to upgrade the bulb with same wattage.
Philips Xtreme Vision Plus H7 55w is the bulb to be tried.
Check here.
It'll be slightly whitish, and not completely white/blue/purple/etc.

Re: XUV500 Low Beam Upgrade

I have used Philips Xtreme Vision and Osram laser night breaker. Both are almost same.

The light performance is not that great as compared to stock bulb, whether it be a H4 or H7.

I would better suggest to go for some LED replacement so that at lower wattage you can get amazing performance.

Try out this link from AUXBEAM.

The products are really of good quality.

Read all specification before buying.

Re: XUV500 Low Beam Upgrade

Get a good quality 35w or 55w 4300k AC HID kit and you will never look back at halogens.
Many members in this forum has done it. They perform well with the OEM projectors. And they are plug and play. Installation/removal takes 10-15mins.
Even I have such a kit in the low beam projectors of my car. 4300k gives a yellowish output hence it won't be a problem in rain/fog.
