Looking for a Used MODIFIED Car: Bought Maruti Suzuki Swift VDi

Pricing for Swift VDI is too lesser in Delhi than our Hyderabad.3.65L,39K Km run 2010 Swift VDI seems to be reasonable.We also had Swift VDI 2010 February and till now,we had done 73K Km in 33 Months.Presently,we are planning to sell Swift for 5L or 5.5L in another 2 months.

the 4th and the 3rd one seems fine. The 3rd gives 13k less on odo by buying 15k more. I suggest you to do some bargaining on this! (380000)

+1 to jihu123, if you are getting 13k less on ODO by paying 15k more, go for it(380000) bargain with that dealer, may be you can get it at least 5-10k cheaper :)

I am going for the car with priority to year of manufacture, as I think it would help while selling the car.
The condition of the first swift (320000) is not that great (there are some dents on the bonnet and fender), so not going for it.

Stiff competition between 3rd and 4th swift:

Swift VDi - 26000 - Sep 2010 - 380000
Swift VDi - 39000 - Dec 2010 - 365000

Will post a picture of both the cars, if possible and let you decide.

The condition of the first one seems to be better.
Also, I am thinking of getting the first one as it has less odometer reading and the dealer is willing to reduce 5-7k for me!

2010 September Swift looks average.IMO,2010 December Swift looks totally stock for me.

Go for December 2010 Swift.

Actually, I don't like the silver colour!
Secondly, if you are making the decision based on the overdone vinyl work on the first swift, I will remove it the first day I get the car!

NOTE: I forgot to mention the accessories on both the cars:
Sep 2010 Swift:
Underbody neons (7 colours)
K&N filter
Alloys
ICE (including 2 subwoofers, 2 amps and JBL wiring kit)

Dec 2010:
8000k HIDs
Alloys
Basic ICE (1 amp, Monster wiring kit)

Sept 2010 Swift has much equipment like Under body neon(7 colors),K&N Filter,Alloys and ICE.If you liked this White Swift,then grab it.Rs.3.65L is too reasonable compared to our Hyderabad prices.But,I didn't like those cheap vinyls on front bumper.

I am 90% getting the white swift.

Regarding the vinyls, I would remove them (especially the one done on the bottom of the bumper)

Any suggestions to be followed while checking the car?

2010 sept swift is good. I am wondering diesel cars that too from maruti stable has low resale value in Delhi. Good deal for you. My advice is please remove those vinyls and scoop from bonnet and top. Later put some body kit. That would look awesome.

Seems like the Sept Swift is a good deal than the other even if that looks a bit ugly. While buying, do hard bargaining again, what if you get 10k reduced!

@bharathi4747 : Yes, I will remove those vinyls the very first day I get the car. Those vinyls are all over the body (including the rear and sides also)!Regarding the hood scoop, it will stay as it is, but will think of adding black vinyl (carbon fiber) on the hood and then place the hood scoop. Regarding the roof scoop, I also don't like it, but, let it be! I will remove it afterwards and get a 'SWIFT' vinyl written there.

@jihu : Nope, to me, it isn't that ugly! Yes, the thing is that it is not neatly done!
No, not 10k! Never possible. However, the dealer is happily reducing 5-7k! This would make the price approximately 373000-375000 INR.

The Sep 2010 Swift we are getting on sunday will NOT be mine! It will be used by brother! [:(]
I think my bad days are going on! Coming to hear bad news after news!

Hi friends, We have finally bought the Maruti Suzuki Swift on the day of 'Dhanteras' and feeling proud to add a new member to our garage.
Currently, I am getting the front overdone vinyls REMOVED. Got the taillights smoked! (Looks nice but is not glossy!)
