Lamborghini unveils its fastest ever Murcielago, the LP 670-4 Super Veloce. This Limited Edition Murcielego, priced at Rs 3.6 crore (ex-showroom), is even more powerful, lighter and faster than the Murciélago LP 640. The LP 670-4 Super Veloce gets the same longitudinally mounted 6.5 liter V12 engine as the LP 640, but the max power goes up to 670bhp. It has gone through a crash diet and now weighs 100kg less than the LP 640 which gives the latest Murcielago a greater power-to-weight ratio. The newest Lambo breaches the 0-100 kph mark in a breathtaking 3.2 seconds and touches a top whack of 342 kph. The SuperVeloce comes equipped with standard fitted 6-speed sequential, automated manual transmission E-gear, which uses electro-hydraulics to shift gear extremely quickly and smoothly. [thumbsup]

In order to shed weight, the Murciélago LP 670-4 SuperVeloce sports newly developed chassis, engine, transmission and interiors as well. The structure of the super sports car is a composite construction of extremely stiff carbon components and a tubular steel frame, similar to that in a race car. The transmission tunnel and the floor are made of carbon fiber, while the roof and the exterior door panels are formed in sheet steel.
The LP 670 gets new front and rear designs with an innovative engine bonnet and a choice of two aerodynamic set-ups featuring either a small or large rear spoiler. The interior in Alcantara and carbon fiber provides a purist and minimalist approach. The Murciélago comes fitted with double wishbone suspension all round and spring struts – two on each of the rear wheels and one on each of the front – to take the load. The Super Veloce is equipped with exclusive five twin-spoke design ‘Ares’ alloy-forged wheels. The front wheels are clad in 245/35 ZR 18 rubber, while the rear tyres are 335/30 ZR 18. Braking is taken care by hi-tech ABS system and carbon ceramic (CCB) brakes. (Article; Autocar India)

Mind Blowing!
This one is insane!
I prefer the gallardo too simply because its more like a 'car' & not one that will give you back aches:biggrin:

P.S. Shouldn't this be in the Indian Auto Scene? It has been launched in India. It made its global debut long time before.

Murcielago is an astounding monstrous machine if driven properly on a track but when it comes to practicality on Indian roads, it almost certainly scores close to a Zero. The same goes with other super “hyper” cars in this range. Only people like Kingfisher’s boss can afford one.
