KTM has been working hard to establish its hold on the Indian market. The Austrian bike manufacturer has been continuously teasing the Indian audience with a spree of bikes to be made available in 2019. One of these products include the KTM Adventure 390, which is one that comes with high expectations. And now, dealers have informed MotorBeam that the Adventure 390 is also likely to come to India in 2019.

KTM 390 Adventure spied in India

The KTM 390 Adventure was one of the great teases of 2018. After the collective hopes of a nation were let down when there was no sign of the bike at the 2018 EICMA show in Milan, we shut down any expectations of seeing more of this machine till 2019. But with just one week of the year remaining, spy images have emerged that show the all new motorcycle testing in India!

KTM 390 Adventure Launched In India; Priced At ₹ 2.99 Lakh

Any new KTM launch in India is highly anticipated. And this one is perhaps the most anticipated motorcycle launch in India in the recent years. The KTM 390 Adventure finally goes on sale in India at a price of ₹ 2.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). This makes it about ₹ 50,000 cheaper than its nearest rival, the BMW G 310 GS and is about ₹ 30,000 more expensive than the KTM 390 Duke. It has been in coming for the longest time and it made its India debut at the 2019 India Bike Week in Goa just about a month ago.

The KTM 390 Adventure uses the same engine as the KTM 390 Duke, which is a 373 cc single cylinder unit that is liquid-cooled and pumps out 43 bhp at 9,000 rpm and has a peak torque rating of 37 Nm at 7,000 rpm. The engine is BS6 compliant and is paired to a 6-speed gearbox and KTM offers a bi-directional quick-shifter as a standard fitment, which is a pleasant surprise.
