Kawasaki have decided to give their entry-level Ninja a bit more poke, and so they have fitted it with a 296cc parallel-twin engine, which develops 39 hp - 7 hp more than the outgoing model, which was powered by a 250cc unit. Styling-wise, the resemblance to the rest of the Ninja family is plainly obvious, taking cues from both the ZX-10R, ZX-6R, as well as the ZZR1400 which had similar wheels and fairing.

The manufacturer states that the new bike features some “advanced race-derived technology”. They are referring to the addition of a slipper clutch and a ‘race-style’ back-torque limiter, features not usually found in this class of bikes. Another option not usually found in this class is ABS which can be fitted at extra cost.

Furthermore, in order to boost stability, the all-new frame now sits on a wider 140 mm rear tire. The bike also comes with a regular analog tachometer (better than digital, we say), and a multi-function LCD which supplies the driver with information about the bike (fuel, temperature, dual trip meters and an economical riding indicator).

Bajaj please bring this model to INDIA

I really love the Ninja, especially the ZX-10 but the 250 is just too overpriced for me. Hopefully this would be priced better if it is launched
