Hyundai's sales this month look strong only because the sales during July'14 had taken a sharp dip due to low despatches of the old i20 during that month. Excluding Creta and i20 numbers, all other models of Hyundai have seen a sharp drop in despatches. Lets see if it only due to production adjustment for the new model.
Tata Motors seriously needs to hire a new Ad agency & launch a mega brand promotion exercise before the new models are launched. They are investing thousands of crores in product development & other R&D, but it first needs to spend atleast Rs.1000 crores in brands promotion spread over a few months duration to change the company's image in the minds of general public. This investment, if successful, will give good returns to the company in the coming many years.
