thank you all guys.
Driven today about 150km with combination of city + highway + country side road + no road [anger] she takes every pothole with ease. Most of the time I couldn't upshift from 3rd gear. MID says average consumption is 6.8L/100km

Eh,how I missed this thread!![frustration]
Congrats for your shift from revs and power to boost and torque.Congrats for your red beauty.
The car is really looking very neat and spotless.

About FE and tank filling part,it always feels very light if you are driving a diesel car,but then you are always going to miss the v-tec..

BTW,its now time to change your signature as well as your avatar..

2 rims are gifted with noticeable bend[frustration]
Looking to change them. If anyone from Chennai is upgrading from Steel rims to Alloys or Stock alloys to after market ones, please do let me know.

Congratulationz for your pre-loved beauty. I happened to miss this thread. Don't know how. FE figures you are getting pretty good.

What is the cost of those horns?

And I can also see , change in your signature. [:D] I still remember, before it was something like " XXX + XXX = empty pocket." [lol]. Now there is no need to worry about the empty pocket. Just the miles you will crunch with a big smile on your face everytime you drive the beauty.

Thanks dude

1200 INR (Horn + Wiring)
In my City I installed Roots windtone horns (1100 INR) which stopped working in a short time. So this time gave a try with Hella.

Guys, I'm looking for AUX cable. Also those 'U' shaped pins to pull out the HU.
Any pointers in Chennai?

OE horns are normal vibrasonic and the one I installed in Windtone horn. Doesn't hold any advantage, I'm a fan of this sound [:)]

Few updates on Linea.
1) Added AUX cable (complete DIY)
2) Installed floor mat
3) Replaced the OE antenna with a shorter one (no idea from which car, it was lying unused with my mechanic, cut a little rubber at the bottom and fixed it)
4) Removed all stickers (Type-R in fenders, Linea Sport in windshield, Sports edition in number plates, black dots in headlamp)

Planning to do under body coating (Wurth) may be by tomorrow or the day after.

Dear Mr.Boss!
Congrats on hearing you're getting your very own boss!

Congrats on getting pre-owned Linea.

On the first post, under "similarities" you'd mentioned about the same GC. Have you upgraded the GC with the TASS? Please do so, if not yet.

About the steering wheel peelings, it really doesn't look good on your car. A cover might be of some help. However, you'd mentioned somewhere that you're not a cover person.

For the bent wheels, have you checked with the Lal's or other tyre guys on White's? Road. That's the place most of the car owners go and change their stock rims to alloys na! You might be lucky to find your likings over there.
