Renault Triber India Prices Hiked By Up To ₹ 13,000

FireShot Capture 090 - Renault Triber India Prices Hiked By Up To Rs. 13,000 - carandbike_ - w...png

The BS6 Renault Triber was launched in the country earlier this year in January for a starting price of ₹ 4.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The company hiked the prices by up to ₹ 29,000 specifically because of the BS6 transition. It is worth noting that the MPV has already received four price hikes since its launch. Now, the BS6-compliant MPV has received another price hike, which ranges from ₹ 11,500 to ₹ 13,000. Unlike previous instances, the company has also increased the price for the base variant. The MPV has been churning out good volumes for the carmaker.

Hyundai Creta Gets A Price Hike Of Up To 62,000; New Petrol Base Variant Introduced

Hyundai India has increased the prices for the new-gen Creta compact SUV by up to ₹ 61,900. Additionally, the company has also introduced a new base E variant for the petrol version which has been launched at ₹ 9.81 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Earlier, the E trim was only available with the diesel option, while the petrol variants started from the EX trim, which has received the highest price hike of ₹ 61,900. The new variant has possibly been introduced to off-set the heavy upward revision in the price of the EX petrol variant, and also, to keep the entry-level ex-showroom price below ₹ 10 lakh. The rest of the petrol and diesel variants have now become dearer by ₹ 11,900. After the revision, the 2020 Hyundai Creta is now priced from ₹ 9.81 lakh to ₹ 17.31 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

TATA Motors has not announced any price hike. Looks like there is no upward revision as sales is to stock ratio is the lowest and also price revision seems to make them pricier. So maybe company has thought a way to reach the sales target of 40k by festival region as it planned in a dealer target sheet.

The Ford SE s in Pune are pressing for booking of Aspire /Freestyle in the December itself so as to protect myself from price hike. Also they are telling me that the waiting period would be 90 days from the date of the booking. I wonder how it is possible when they hardly sold 300 odd units of Aspire during this festive & pent up demand season?
