Thanks myth. I just want that everyone should know the costs of these parts from local markets.

No doubt service centers are costly. The manufacture of these parts are the same but in a.s.s the packaging is different (sometimes even plain box to save cost) and the mrp is high and they don't even give discounts. The same parts with same packaging can easily be sourced outside with 10% discount on mrp.

Now holding the thought of selling the i10. The engine is perfect , the exterior not so much [lol] will have to spend 15k on bumpers plus dent removal and paint.
The ac coil is again leaking [frustration] the only sore point of keeping this car. Spending 4k every year for ac.
The clutch pedal is making squeaking noise. The mechanic told me we'Lloyd have to open the assembly then only they can find what's causing the noise

I got a similar squeaking noise a few weeks ago from the clutch. Since the noise went away mysteriously after 4-5 days, i didnt bother visiting the service center.

By the way, do you know what is the time/km interval for paid servicing. Since i opted for extended warranty, i believe i have to get the servicing done regularly without fail.

The noise is continous and it feels like 2 metal parts are grinding with each other.
The old i10 had 6 months /5000 kms service interval and I guess from 2014 onwards it was 10000kms/ 1 year. Check your service manual to confirm

There's a lot of confusion what to do next.
Sell the santro and buy the tiago for my dad.
Sell the santro and buy a diesel for myself and dad keeps the verna.
Dont do anything and buy a car after 2 years[lol]

I got a quote of 150000 in september 2015 :/ from everyone ,when I bought the figo . In August 2016 got the same quote. Weird.

The clutch started giving problems. Couldn't change gears . Turned out the bearing was the problem.

I asked the shop owner for a genuine bearing , he showed me one but didn't think it was original and he seemed confused as to why I am only taking the bearing and nt the full clutch set.
I told him only the bearing caused this problem and then he gave me another PHC branded bearing saying this will be better. [frustration] so what it seems that he was not giving me an original bearing but a copy.

Paid 490 for the bearing , 470 for clutch cable and 700rs labor.

The mechanic told me the clutch cable was interrupting with the bearing and it snapped causing the bearing to fail ? Any idea guys ?

Got the following things done today at 162000kms.

Cng kit service - 400rs
Throttle body , spark plugs and IC valve cleaning - 300rs
Cng part : Diaphragm - 300rs ( didn't think it was worth it)
IC valve is idle air control actuator which controls the engine rpm at idle.
There is a whole lot of benefit of getting the ic valve clean. The ac doesn't trips anymore and the engine becomes less noisy.

suspesnion work , washing due.

I forgot to update the last time but i think engine has started consuming engine oil. There's no excess smoke of any kind but when i got the last service done i think only a liter of engine oil was present. But i did skipped a service since i was planning to sell it so can't say for sure how many kms the car ran for.

Car has crossed 5k kms since last service. Will get the service done and see how much oil is present this time.
