Hyundai has stopped bookings of the i20 in India as the production of the current i20 has been briefly stopped. The Korean automaker will soon be launching the new i20 facelift, which will get minor updates. Production of the Fluidic Hyundai i20 is set to begin in a couple of weeks time as the company looks at launching the first update of the i20.

plz someone tell me when i20 facelift model launch coz i booked i20 asta crdi and now my dealer says company stop production for old model and you are getting newer model when it's launch.
Considering that Hyundai has halted the production of existing i20, I’m assuming that launch should happen in less than a month’s time or so. You should be happy for getting the newer model.
As the facelifted i20 is to launch sooner more and more pictures of the car doing round at many sites.A LHD snap of the interior picture of the car.Look like the interiors has not been changed. Some more pictures of the car form IAB.
Though not the right place to put this in this thread. Here are the pictures of the current generation i20 but its a 3 door hatch.Never seen any variant of this car before. The car having a local number and not a Test number plate. Can anyone have any information regarding 3 door i20 in India?

I find it quite surprising that three-door version is wearing normal plates. It can be a company owned car imported by Hyundai for their own purpose. Anyways New i20 is expected to release in the first week of April as per Indian Autos Blog.
Just opened this thread to share latest images but found them already uploaded here. Anyways New i20 although appears slightly modern but I’m upset that it has lost the real bulky stance and rear lamps are particularly more disappointing. Hyundai could have done better by working to make existing set of lamps in fluidic form.
Guyz I feel that this is not the Indian version. Check out the rear, it has one reverse light and one foglamp. Unlike other international Hyundai models like the Verna; still it has two reverse lights. I know that Logan, Polp, Vento, SX4 has one reverse light; but I feel this may not be the Indian version I guess.
BTW I liked the front looks because it is some what different form the Verna and new i10.
