Been there today for key matching.

Past experiences had been pretty bad including stealing parts and huge unnecessary bills like carb cleaning for mpfi car and changing whole exhaust for a simple weld job. Even seen a disassembled gearbox being worked in sandy floor. More frauds like topping up with half quantity instead of changing fully. It is just a km away from home, still I prefer going to FNG, which is almost 10 km away.

Because of their shoddy job only the dealership was lost.

Going there again tomorrow to get the key matched. Their OBD tool was at their other SVC.

Only reason I went there was the FNG guy did not have the required software.

2016 End:

Car was running fine, turbo still leaks and needs replacement. So doing oil change and routine service every 5k km. Hoping to find a used one.

Stupid idea, but worked [lol]

Got a DRL and fixed as number plate illumination.

It was super-bright and annoying, more that what is seen in photo.

After a couple of layers of light tinting, it has become manageable. Unexpected advantage was rearview camera is more visible in dark.

By end of 2016, hits 1'07'500 km.

By 2017 beginning,

1'11'111 km

Got a Vgate iCar II OBDII scanner.

Comes handy.

Port is near fuse box.

Up and running.

Issues were it will have to be turned ON manually after car shuts down for 30 mins. Location is not easily accessible, in case if preferred all the time and no autostart, else has to take off fuse cover to access all the time.

Second issue was, phone connects via WiFi (this version) and phone will be offline as long as it is connected to OBD. Better get Bluetooth version (again will be an issue with Bluetooth pairing with HU).

Worked well with Polo and Beat as well.

Torque Pro comes bundled with the package. Also available in Google Play, but full version is paid and only that will work properly.

This is why I insist everyone to remove any stickering ASAP. Residue in long run.

Next set of wheels. Was looking for stock size and may be max 195 in case we get a good deal, but got offer for 205 for mouthwatering price. Fell for it. Approx 16.5k for set of 4. Alignment, balancing and nitrogen included.

2017 has been a problematic year. Multiple part fails including ABS sensors, steering contacts, EGR, etc, etc. EGR cleaned out and literally there was thick tar inside. Power and mileage restored back. Now has the lost oomph factory. Mileage is 14-17 now. Used to get hardly 10-13. Replaced Steering contact assembly (Clock spring contact assembly). Paid some 1500-1700 for that. Part Number 93490-1J500. ABS sensors having loose contacts. Cleaned, yet popping up once in a while.
