2020 Hyundai Creta 7 seater SUV render ahead of launch

The advent of new SUVs like the Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV300, Tata Harrier, Jeep Compass, etc., on either side of the size spectrum has put crossovers like Maruti S-Cross and Hyundai Creta in an awkward position in the market. The highly successful Hyundai Creta is expected to bear most of the brunt due to this change in market dynamics.

Next-Gen Hyundai Creta Likely To Be Based On Kia SP2i Platform With 7-Seat Option

The second generation Creta will become more premium with increased dimensions as Hyundai ponders on appealing to a wider set of audience in an expansive price range than it already does. Reports suggest that the next-gen Creta will offer seven seats and come incorporated with changes to rival as far as Jeep Compass. It is said to share architecture with the Kia SP2i and will likely have radical changes to its design compared to the existing model. The next generation Hyundai Creta is expected to draw design cues from the global Santa Fe with the now-trending eyebrow lamps, sleeker headlamp cluster and cascading front grille.

Is it the Hyundai Carlino ?

I have a huge doubt - 2019 expected launches are Carlino based SUV , Hyundai Kona , and then facelift of Creta .

So either this carlino based SUV will be sold here as Creta facelift priced within 16k as you have posted , and Kona will be positioned in same segment with Electric /Hybrid option thereby setting a price bracket in 15-20L

Hyundai Creta EX launched, priced at INR 10.85 lakh

Hyundai has added a new EX grade to the Creta. The company is yet to update its website and the brochure, but reports from Financial Express and Autocar India have revealed information about it. Previously, the Hyundai Creta was available in E, E+, S, SX, SX Dual Tone and SX (O) grades. Now, the E grade has been discontinued, which means that E+ is the new entry-level grade. As a result, the entry price has gone up from INR 9,60,154* to INR 9,99,990*. The S grade is also no longer on sale.
