All I can say is that Hyundai is on a roll. At this Auto Expo – Korean auto major is showing the killer fluidic range of models which they have lined up for the near future in India. New Hyundai Elantra, New Hyundai Sonata to name a few. Surprisingly, Hyundai has missed a great opportunity to unveil their Fluidic i20 at the event. On other hand, Veloster Concept and Hexa Space MPV Concept are the limelight of the entire exhibit. Existing Hyundai will also be pleased to see some modified models like i10, i20 and Santa Fe.

Veloster has only one door on the driver side but two doors on the passenger side. Powered by a 1.60liter direct injecter petrol motor, the Hyundai Veloster produces 138 hp of power and 167 Nm of torque. It is available with a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed dual-clutch tranmission (DCT) gearbox with paddle shifts. With a price of roughtly Rs. 8 lakhs in the U.S. The Veloster is something which could lead the premium compact brigade in our country. Source: MotorBeam

Fluidic Sonata looks better than Accord & Superb. It will outsell Accord due to diesel option & Superb due to it being Hyundai. However, the only reason why some people may not it is due to Hyundai brand which is known for hatches.

Btw, what is difference between GDI & CRDI engines ?

If i am right the new Sonata has not been unveiled in its diesel avatar till now. Rumours are that in India the Santa-Fe's engine with a bit of tuning will go under the hood of new Sonata because in our country diesels are a must! So even i hope Hyundai already know this and they will launch the diesel variant also soon.

I don't know the full form of GDI but i do know that it is Petrol.

Wondering how i20 fluidic version was not brought by Hyundai. I had heard about its upgraded version to be launched in the Auto expo this year on some websites.
