Please note that I mentioned "rendering", The image has been made with combo of City and Jazz. The real model should be different.

Honda's Small Car

Another Rendering of Honda's new small car packed for India, By our friends at Indian Autos Blog.com.

Our photoshop master SRK was handed the task of compiling a drawing of Honda’s upcoming small car meant for the Indian market. Codenamed 2CV, our sources tell us the the upcoming small car will use a 1.1-liter petrol engine, with no diesel in the equation. We were also informed that the engine could share commonalities with the 1.2-liter unit on Jazz. The use of Honda’s cutting-edge VTEC technology was not confirmed.

The Honda 2CV will be is engineered to outrun the Swift and Ritz from the Suzuki stable, which command a high market share in its segment.

SRK designed the Honda 2CV after going through some of its competitors which includes Suzuki Swift, Hyundai i10, Fiat Punto, Tata Indica and Suzuki Ritz/Splash.

Yes I'm back and have a picture of Honda's small car concept. Design looks futuristic indeed, Like other siblings but have some lines of Jazz like we already discussed in this thread.

Honda’s small car, slated for 2011 will have localized components for 80% and will also replicate its best selling City, said its Director for Marketing. The new car will find its production platform from Greater Noida it is learn to meet the demands with full fervor. The other existing models would also be framed with more local components as City uses 75% ,Civic has 71% of and Accord is with 28% of localized components.

This is one of the best designs from Honda!

Even though it has few cues of Jazz, Its really nice concept & looks ahead of any cars till date in India.

Pricing of this car will determine the future. Hope Honda would have learnt enough lessons from Jazz itself.
