Hero MotoCorp came out with three new models:

1.Hero Maestro.
2.Passion X Pro.
3.Ignitor.

Hero Maestro:

The Maestro is powered by a 109cc air-cooled single cylinder engine.
The Maestro gets Integrated Braking System.
The instrument console is a combination of analog-digital meters.
here is impressive storage space on the Maestro with central compartment as well as sizeably large under-seat storage space.

Passion X Pro :

The Passion X Pro 110cc motorcycle . Once again with new sticker job and somewhat revised styling, the new Passion X Pro employs a frugal 109cc engine that produces 8.7PS of power at @7,500rpm. The stylish and sportier X Pro also gets tubeless tyres and MF battery for low maintenance and improved convenience and it is available in with an option for a front disc brake for the interested buyers.

Ignitor:

The other significant model shown by Hero MotoCorp was the ‘Ignitor’ – a 125cc sporty offering that builds on the rising craze for polished and exciting 125cc motorcycles. Styling is identical to the Honda CB Stunner 125 with the front quarter-fairing furthermore revised presenting the Ignitor with much more aggressive and athletic stance than the CB Stunner 125. Its 124cc engine gives 11PS of power at 8,000rpm and is fed by a CV carburettor for instant response.

Hero Motocrp needs volumes for survival and for keeping it's market share intact in years to come. That's why these three, run-of-the-mill models after the mould breaking Impulse motorcycle. Let's see how Hero Motocorp does all by itself in the next five to ten years.

Yesterday was watching the reviews on a news channel which also reported that the Ignitor resembles a lot with stunner. The fairing as well as the backlight looks exactly same as Stunner.

What would matter more in the future is Hero Motocorp's own ability to develop successful products. Let's see how well they fare on that.

The maestro seems to be a good competitor for the activa/wego. The ignitor seems to be a copy of the stunner though. let's see how heromotocorp does in next 5 to 10 years.

i don't think this ignitor will click in the market. The Stunner from Honda itself not selling well.
Hero just coping and launches each models with new name and graphix, which Honda launched earlier in India.

Can someone tell a reason to buy a Hero Bike, while we have each option available straightly from Honda?
They are selling the extreme and hunk now only because of 2 reasons.

1. unicorn doesn't have rear disc brake and digital meter(Dazzler is a full Flop)
2.Waiting period of Unicorn(Which was changed now)

I think the numbers of the entry segment bikes, hero sells will go down by the entry of Dream Yuga.
