Hello all this time Hawk on fours completed a second travel to Goa within a span of 5 days.

It was the day of Ayudha Pooja we left Bangalore around 9 am.

The route followed was: Bangalore-Tumkur-Davangere-Chitradurga-Bankapur-Hubli(Bypass)-Yellapur-Kirwati Forest-Kalghatgi-Ankola-Karwar-Ponda-Panjim(Goa)

The above route was superb, though a few potholes in Kirwati forest.

Though we left around 9 am, It took me about 11 am to reach JAS toll booth i.e Tumkur toll booth.
Thanks to Ayudha Pooja the whole of bangalore was facing the worst traffic jam.
And i had made a mistake to take tumkur road via Metro in Vijaynagar.

Posting some pics

Sorry for the delay guys.
Dedicated my whole day towards fixing of ABS problem forever in the dealership.

Day 1: We had stopped for lunch in Davangere Chetana Hotel.
Food was ok not to good but it was on the 1st list in Google maps.
So decided for that Hotel.
Around 2 o clock we were in Davangere.
And ladies were happy in shopping near B.S Channa Basappa.
They had indeed forgot that they are on a travel to goa.
After shopping we left Davangere around 3 pm.
We were on the route to Hubli.

In the night a pitstop was needed in Karwar for dinner around 9.45 pm.
Left Karwar around 11.15 pm.

The road through Ranibennur-Haveri is not that bad as people complain about.

We took the Hubli bypass toward Yellapur route via Ankola-Karwar.

The hotels were decent enough.

And the same day we left to Goa and reached around 12.30am.

No problem buddy , hope you fixed your car. If you had started around 6 in the morning you could have reached Goa a little earlier and avoided late night driving.

How much distance between Bangalore and Goa buddy?

Day 2: The offerings were made to our deity.

Then in the leisure we planned for some beaches.
The last time we had done Miramar Beach, Old Goa, Dono paul.
So this time the above places were ruled out.

So we planned for Calangute & Baga Beach.
These 2 places were the best & clean among other beaches in Goa.

We 1st visited to Calangute then to Baga Beach.

Mukesh, a very nice pictorial travelogue. The pictures tell the story !

Where did you stay in Ponda & how was the accommodation? I am planning to visit Ramnathi Temple - Ponda during the first week of Nov.

Hi Satish welcome to TAI.

I stayed in Kavale mutt room.
Due to non-availability of rooms in Ramnathi during Navrathri.
Function was there in Ramnathi.
Now you will get rooms easily.
