Re: Hawk on a Tour to Bangalore-Yercaud-Madurai-Rameshwaram-Kanyakumari!!

Here goes the last set of pics of Kanyakumari and return to Bangalore.

While returning from Bangalore, we stopped at Karur for excellent Lunch on New Year day at Arunachala Restaurant , @ the starting of Karur.

Followed by shopping at Chennai Silks for Ladies.(3 hours killed at Karur).

While returning to Hosur, 25 mins was wasted at Toll Booth[frustration].

Total Fuel Expenditure
: 7200/-

Toll: 900/-

very nice write up & pics......I did the same stretch on my RE TBTS with four more bulls, it’s a whole new experience when you ride through these roads.. Anyone wanting to do this sector I would suggest them to explore the local food.

Its wonderful. Nice photos. It's tempting me to visit there.
Its a worth visit Raj, if you do Kanyakumari directly, you can reach fast.
But if you intend to visit Rameshwaram, you should have time in handy.

As lots of deviation is involved, which makes you move all around the city.
And i did the Kanyakumari via Tiruchendur, roads were bad at few stretch.
Heard from many travellers that Thirunelveli route was worse.

Finally Kanyakumari pics came[;)]..

Nice Pics Mukesh,

Cheers[cheers]
Thanks Appu .

the local dosa joints on the highway.....
Biryani @ Dinigul (venu biryani)
Shanmuga mess in Karur
Oh may be but while on the way to Madurai, to Dindigul there was a deviation.
It would have been better if there are more Hotel on Highways.

And in Karur one must not miss Arunachala restaurant for food, just before Chennai Silks.

All through the journey we had excellent food over at this place only.

So, we reached back to Bangalore eh.,? Some amazing photos from Kanyakumari Mukesh! Liked the ones in Vivekananda rock. [:)]
Thanks TCL, for those kind words...

Superb Travelogue Mukesh !! You really made me to see the Vivekananda memorial as I am afraid of water and never venture into any boat, I was just standing there and watching the memorial from far where all my cousins visited in ferry.

Also thank you for the temple pics especially the Madurai and Rameshwaram, I am yet to visit them. Dhanushkodi pics are really good, you have shown the female sea, but where is the male sea ??

Only disappointment is pamban bridge and sea pics[:)]

Should make it this time around in Feb.
