Hows your off-roader running buddy? And why the tinkering? The AC fitment charges are looking a bit on higher side. Do post some pics of the car once it is back.

the tinkering is for fitting the ac, as a small part of metal has to be cut inside the engine bay for the ac fitment.the compressor is sanden, the cooling coils is bolero original, the switches is bolero original. at present not installing the roof blower will do it later if not satisfied. akash the price quoted by mahindra dealer is more than double than 29k.

Hi smooth rider, fitting looks neat. Do share more info about the compressor model. Do we get the bracket holding the compressor or should we have to get it fabricated.

Does it it have options to change the air flow directions as found in the car.

recambering of the rear leaf spring sets done at local garage. the leaf spring sets in the rear was removed and the first 2 were hammered so that the arch increased so that they function when the vehicle is not loaded. the rest of the 3 leaves were flattened out. when the vehicle is loaded the first 2 leaves flatten and come to rest on the second set of leaves. did a short test drive and the ride seems to have improved.[:)]
mates any body has any first hand experiences regarding carbon fibre leaf springs? will replacing the steel leaves with carbon fibre leaf spring improve the ride quality. will replacing the shocks with gas filled shocks soften the ride.
