You have a beautiful ride bro. Going by the pace at which the 1.6s is added to Kerala, I think all the cars from India will be in Kerala in the mean time
Thankyou and what not. It's raining vtec's, 1.6s, vrs, Zen steel's and carbon's even with 1.6 engine swap. [;)]

Saw either one of the 2 fiesta's yesterday near vazhuthacaud , near tagore theatre .
Whose was it?
It wasn't me [:)]

It's been a long time since I've updated this thread. Got stuck up with my job and I was having issues loading TAI homepage. Don't know why.

So after a long gap, It's time for another hill run guys [clap]

Apart from the last hill run, we only have photos at this pit stop and it's because our camera guy from the last run himself got a 1.6s and was pretty much enjoying it.

I've pushed the car so much this time that all I can hear was the epic tire squeals on each and every corner, so much adrenaline pump and we all were keeping up good pace uphill as well downhill. The squad is getting bigger and better [evil]

Let the picture's do the business.

Hello to all Fiesta lovers!! I am a new member to this forum and also a proud owner of a pre-owned Fiesta Classic CLXI 1.6 petrol model. The car is in pristine condition and has only run 30,000 when i bought it around 20 days back. I am looking forward to learn valuable insights on this amazing car from you guys.

I am currently based in New Delhi and there are no problems in sourcing spare parts for the car over here. I also have a trusted mechanic who has worked on all of our cars for almost 2 decades. But by the end of this year, I will be moving to Kerala (Changanacheri, near Kottayam to be precise) and also will be bringing my Fiesta. Hence, I would require your feedback on the following points:

1) How is the spare parts availability for this car in Kerala?

2) Can you recommend any good mechanic / garages in Kottayam area who has experience with Ford cars?

3) How is the experience with the Ford Authorised Service Centres in or around Kottayam? Please also provide the dealer names.

Thanks

No issues whatsoever. Almost all parts are readily available/via order.

I'll run a search around and will get back to you on this when you are here [:)]

I'm reguarly servicing at Harry Ford, Trivandrum. They are pretty impressive. I think Kairali Ford has svc in Kottayam.

I am in search of 1.6s and i was doing lots of research about the beast and that's how i landed on this forum. And this particular thread is very informative. So far i haven't found any 1.6s in Bangalore. Hoping to find one soon and will keep you all posted about the experience.

New Borbet's and Yoko's in

Again, after a very long silence from my side, (blame my laziness and erratic job shifts) I've finally managed to pen down it. Long post alert!

Changed the rear number plate light to LED, Thanks to @devlle_56 as always.

Ever since I got the car, I've always had the itch to upgrade the alloys and make the stance perfect but without compromising much on the power output. Bigger wheels was never in my mind, and 16" wheels were even harder to fin in 108 PCD. I personally had a thing towards single PCD alloys and all 108 PCD alloys were a combination of 100/108 PCD. That kept me chained so long, until a close friend of mine decided to sell his beloved Ford Figo which were running on Borbet LV4's on a beautiful anthracite shade. Say no more and they are mine now[:D]

Bought a set of new 205-55-15 tires, as they were not having 205-50-15's which were my favorite. Had to settle down with the 55 section tires, else I would have to wait another 2 weeks which was too long for me at that moment.

That perfect stance feel!

Soon after this, another close friend of mine acquired another 1.6s from Bangalore and he moved down to Trivandrum, which means Photo session's [lol]

We drove down to Perumanthura aka Muthalapozhi to click some picture of both beauties. New Borbet's and Yoko's were looking beefier as ever!

Had a quick drive to Kulathupuzha along with few other 1.6s. It was super fun! I really have to make some frequent visit's to Ponmudi it seems !

Less pictures means more fun on the road!

Later, a very talented friend of mine, Rohil from Trivandrum called up and asked whether he can have the car for a photo shoot. The answer is always an YES and believed me I was stunned to see the output.

Wallpaper material alert:[cheers]
