Thats a lot, should have costed at least 1.5 lakhs for the whole set up right,
And what new colour are you trying to apply? New Blue like this Focus RS blue
Not really. It's less than 30000 for work completed. I'll update bill after everything is over. Thanks Ford for keeping spares cheap.

Next up is a paint job. I love the Focus Blue but would like a little more darker but I'm keeping that in mind.

I'll list the approximate cost, though the final bill including labour is awaited.

2. Brake/Clutch Fluid - Rs.310
3. Brake Rotors - Rs.2500
4. Door Mirror Pads - RS-Rs.375, LS-Rs.355
5. Accessory Belt Kit - Rs.1700
6. Gear Oil - Rs.1350
7. Fuel filter - Rs.600
8. Air Filter - Rs.210
9. Timing Belt + tension-er bearing - Rs.4500 + labour
10. 1.6 Logo - Rs.200
11. Wind Shield - Rs.3888 + Rs.650 (Rubber Beading)+Rs.1000(Paste) + Labour- Rs.1000
12. Clutch - Disc and Pressure Plate - Rs.2500 + Rs.1700 (release Bearing)

4. ABS module found to be defective and that was the cause for spongy brakes. The module was not pumping oil to one of the wheels. Replaced with a used one. New one costs 54k????!!!!!
How much did the used one costs ?
..and that's a whole lot of top to bottom check up done, Kudos for that[clap]

The prices are pretty interesting... Prices are of a Ford Service Center right ? If that's the case I'll have to soon go for a shopping spree [;)]

Kudous to ford for keeping the spare price so cheap.Sure people can easily keep ford cars for real long time time.
They recently cut down the prices and what really worries me is that Does the quality also is sacrificed [confused]

ABS module bought for 8000 as against 54k. Still I think is a little expensive
The parts and make are same. The prices are from Eureka Ford who distributes Ford parts. They are cheap and you have the license to go on a shopping spree. I've left the car with a garage run by former Ford mechanics who worked 7 years in Ford ASS.

Draining the engine oil as well, it was long due.

The old steering hose. There is no leaks however few cars which came for the recall had minor/major leaks. Everything fixed FOC.

Had some sound from the front end. It sounded like the metal parts were scrapping. It occurred very rarely, though it itched me a lot. Found out that the stabilizer bar bushes went off and the stabilizer was scrapping with the front wishbone. New bushes goes in.
