You can call me finicky but I’m quite selective about the places where I eat. For the South Indian food, I haven’t come across anything better than A2B, Green Park. It’s one of the two branches of A2B in Delhi or the entire North India for that matter. Next is Atithi which is a motel situated around the Muzzafarnagar highway offering quality food in a delightful atmosphere. Apart from that, best South Indian food I have ever had was at a few restaurants in Hyderabad that too at unbeatable prices.

1) pure authentic Malwani food - malwan katta- Shivaji park .
2) pure kolhapuri cuisine - pure pur kohlapur- ville parle, dadar ,thane .
3) barbeque and vfm ( means eat as much as you want [lol]) - barbeque nation - bandra.
4) Mughali - shalimar - bhendi bazaar, bandra.
5) coffees - ambrosia - chembur and all baristas . And coffee and beans - bandra .
6) Gujarati unlimited thali -
maharana - chembur Naka
7) Sindhi food ,paya soups - chembur Sindhi camp ( now this are all tapri types of joints but belive me if you are ok eating on a tapri the food is simply awesome )
8) pure veg maharashtrian food - aswad, Prakash , gypsy - all in Shivaji park.
9) south Indian - manis - ruia college and madras cafe - king circle .
10) kerla food - ivy - ghatkoper and One small restaurant on chembur shell colony road called sunny .

But it's totaly worth it [thumbsup] have you seen the menu for their buffet [:D]

There's a similar restraunt pirates of the grill its chepear than bbq. 600-800 per person for dinner and mere 300-400 for lunch but food items are lesser than bbq.

In Goa:
Martin's Corner, Betalbatim, South Goa: Specalizes in Goan food, but serves almost everything. Quite popular with the celebrities. You can actually order exactly what Sachin Tendulkar orders. It's listed in the Menu.

Antique Mardol, Verna, South Goa: Serves the traditional Goan Thali (non-veg). This is strictly no-beef, no-pork. Located on the highway in the Verna Industrial estate between the Honda and Toyota dealerships. Actually you have Toyota, Honda, BMW, JCB, Mahindra, Nissan, Hyundai and Ducati dealerships in this area besides the San Motors Factory and my industrial unit.

Soul Souffle, Udear, South Goa: Good Food, great ambience.

Ernesto's, Panjim, North Goa: Located in the Latin Quarter.

Britto's, Baga, North Goa: One of the best beach side restaurants.

Will add a few more later.

haan, it's really nice. We used to visit a lot b4 marriage at China Pearl, there is one more resturant in front of Jyoti Niwas College named as Poppies, try there. In fact that road itself has plenty of good resturants.

Guys suggest some good Punjabi Dhaba on highways or outskirts of Bangalore.
