Wow, Mukeshus!! Diana Hotel at Udipi I used to visit at lot during B.E from MIT Manipal. Kindly post some picture of Birayani and Chicken Lollpop from Dollops at Tiger Circle Manipal.
Have you ever visited Bitu or Sonu Dhaba near by Shuratkal?
BTW, are you from Konkan zone?

It is ridiculous to see that only one Puneite TAIan has posted on this thread till date .It is detrimental to its reputation as a city of taste buds.
I will share my places
1) Bunbutter - Vohuman's cafe , in front of Appolo hospitals.
2) Veg Sandwiches- unnamed place , Deccan, near erstwhile Cafe Lucky.
3) black forest - Marzorin backery , MG road.
4) wafers - Budhani MG road
4) Chicken kathi kababs and egg plain kababs - kareem's kababs , near victory theater, east street
5) Between 3 pm to 7 pm for meal - 1}Baghban, opp kareem kababs
2} khyber, Deccan.
6) sea food -
1}BBQ nation (Sayaji Hotel) Wakad on Bengluru -Mumbai bye pass
I remember once we (3 friend s) ate lot lot lot of Basa fishes , prawns as startrs and then remembered about maincourse and had 13 crabs each.
Bill Rs 750/ head jaw.

7) Vegetarian thali - Durvankur { now quality is deteriorated}
Maharastrian veg -Mathura at Deccan.
8) other times lunch and dinner - Sarovar , portico at Deccan, Rahul at Rahul theatre.
9) SBDP -Vaishali , FC road.
10) Bhel and Pani Puri- kalyan Bhel, Lullanagar.
11} Dahi misal -Panchali JM road.
11) sweets -Chitale Mithaiwale Deccan.
12) If near Yerwada for meal -Northern frontier.
13} Rosted onion based chicken delicacies - Charcol Pit at MG road, op p Budhani.
14) for meal after 11:30 pm - butter chicken and paratha 24 hr coffee house at Arora

15} If low on budget - for chicken meal , Blue Nile near shopper stop camp.
If high on budget , I prefer to eat at Harnai murud beach Dapoli.
16} For daily healthy breakfast - Fibre Fuel , Undri -NIBM
Green mung dosa, oats dosa , Raggi dosa , brown rice dosa.
Nine herbs sandwich, Nine bean sandwich.
Veg roll.
Broken wheat Upama.
17 } Vada Pav -Joshi wadewale , nr , Balgandharv.

A few good places to eat in Bangalore :
Veena Stores, Malleswaram : Famous for its breakfast
Raghavendra Stores, Malleswaram : Famous for its breakfast
CTR (now called Shiv Sagar), Malleswaram : Famous for its different types of Dosas
Sanjay Dhaba, Hebbal : Famous for its non-veg delicacies and Punjabi food
Mani's Biryani, Koramangala : Famous for its Chicken/mutton Dum Biryani
Hotel Empire, Churchstreet/Shivajinagar : Famous for its non veg delicacies
Corner House (Many parts of Bangalore) : Famous for its Ice creams
A few good places to eat in Bangalore :

I was in fact thinking of starting a thread for bangalore foodies [wink]. Never knew there was a thread for foodies.
The best so far :
BBQ Nation JP Nagar (Sevice - Hospitality). It is really worth the price. If you are worried about the price, then try out in lunch. Dinner is 100-150 costlier than lunch.
They got veg options as well.
A2B - (Adyaar Anand Bhavan)- Many outlets in Bangalore. Almost near to actual thin crispy masala dosa with less /no oil !
I Normally check @ zomato /reviews and go for food.
Unfortunately, the trending - Chutney Chang (No. 1 spot) was not that tasty. Buffet spread was huge.
Hope to see many more foodies from Bangalore

Where do you stay buddy? I stay near Rajajinagar, you missed mentioning the Sai Rams, good place for chats.
For masala dosas, you have to eat in any Shanti Sagars or in any fast food places, they are the best.
I don't know why people go there, i did not find any tasty food(only veg) there and nothing special too.
Try Puliyogare Mane in Gandhi Bazaar, you will love those turmeric rice prepared there, superb taste next to Layout Hanuman's prasadam.
