BOSS registration = Extra premium.
VDi + that Extra Premium = ZDi.
ZDi = Airbags and ABS.
So, VDi when you can afford a ZDi = No Common sense.

In punjab, the auctions start from 2.5 lakh(for some ordinary numbers) and go upto 25 lakhs(for good numbers like 0001)

Also depends on the area and the subdivision.
These figures might be from amritsar or ludhiana but in small districts(punjab) like barnala,mansa or subdivisions like sunam etc it goes upto 50k max.

Exactly! It depends upon area to area. Like wise if we want 0001 in MH 01/02/03/04/43; Its dam hard and very costly. If the same is needed in some other rto like MH 17/25/37etc; you will get in less amount; but you should have a proof there to register the vehicle.
