Guys,
Need some inputs in DIY Projector Fog lamps for my Nissan Sunny.
Background:
- OE fog lamps in Nissan Sunny aren't inspiring.
- Thought of bulb upgrading (OE: H11 12V 55W)
- Later decided to go with Projector setup which will give a better light spread and a bit of improved looks
- Don't want a projector Head lamp (Sunny doesn't look great with projector HLs)
Requirements:
- Shouldn't be an LED (I'm not satisfied with the 12V 10W LED projector fog lamps)
- Angel eyes aren't a mandatory requirement, but if they are present I don't mind using them
- Budget: 4k
- Doesn't need to be branded ones
What came into my mind is,
- Get a pair of 2"~3" Bi-xenon HIDs with angel eyes
- Fix them in the place of Fog lamps
- Connect the angel eyes to Parking lamp (I'm not a fan of DRLs)
- Have a 2-way switch inside cabin (powered from the Fog lamp connection) to toggle between Low & High beams.
With this setup I can manage the night drives in City with Projector low beams itself (50% of my ride will be on nights)
All that I need from you guys is
- perfect & economic source of projectors
- suggestions on brand
- care points / improvement suggestions if any
