Then the dealer told me it was 2008 model.

The Car was purchased on Nov 2008.
Yes its correct it was manufactured in June 2008

This is 2010 model (i am not sure which digit tells about month). I think Hyundai VIn provides "Production Date" also.

I am not able to open below website (office firewall). I will check from home.

hey indian, wish i could help a little but anyways dont worry because hyundai will not give you any old model, they are a responsible carmaker and moreover be happy that the model you are gettin is of 2010 only, like we can see from what RSM decoded VIN. congrats for new purchase!

Umang, thanks for the wishes. yes i am happy to know that it is a 2010 model, only worry is about the month. if it is january then already the car gone through a 4 month depreciation .

RSM , if any further information related to the month please let me know. thanks for your effort and spending time on this

Yes its 2010 model and i think they don't provide the Month.

Please go ahead, no issue with dates.

I will dig out more on Hyundai VIN.

Ok, so if you have got full VIN then why don't you try to decode it using one of these sites..

RSM you were 100% correct as hyundai vin gives production date also .
