Bought a pair of cheap Chinese type R foot pedal for 149 bucks. Converted to aluminium replica. Costs under 250 [if procuring rest of the materials].

Dismantle

Just a star screw driver required.

Remove paint with thinner.

Take sum old tyre tube and mark and cut the pattern.

Fit them back and its done and ready to fit in the car.

The pedal was actually flat. I bent it a bit to get a different feel.

Don't have any snaps as of now. WIll post soon.

Actually I spotted these pedal at Big Bazaar and saw damage pieces with paint peeling off. Suddenly got idea, why cant I make my own pedal out of it and bought one set on the spot.

did you paint those with a metallic paint to give it the finish?
Just removed the original paint. thats all.

neat DIY, would be glad to see the pictures after fitted in your car as well.
