Bought a pair of cheap Chinese type R foot pedal for 149 bucks. Converted to aluminium replica. Costs under 250 [if procuring rest of the materials].

The pedal was actually flat. I bent it a bit to get a different feel.

Actually I spotted these pedal at Big Bazaar and saw damage pieces with paint peeling off. Suddenly got idea, why cant I make my own pedal out of it and bought one set on the spot.

dilip,
did you paint those with a metallic paint to give it the finish?
Just removed the original paint. thats all.
