Bring in with a diesel heart at competitive pricing, and Chevrolet would be selling this car in huge lots. I am loving the decent styling of this sedan. Must say, atleast to me it is looking mod friendly (exterior mods).

That would be as optional because too many are not concerned about it.

Chevrolet Sail has secured 4 stars in the C-NCAP testing.
It has a safety cage with integrated crumple zones.
A steel frame surrounds the fuel tank as a protection in case of a crash.
The car also features:

Dual air bags in front
A retractable steering column
ABS with EBD
Child safety locks are standard

what i have heard is that chevy is sourcing the new diesel mill for its new sedan and hatchback variants, not sure about the specs yet.

The engine should be 1.3mjd, developed by Fiat-GM.

Interiors are looking a bit basic. This will be the replacement for Aveo right?


@ Crazy Cat Those are the power window switches. Though they have tried some innovation , it will be an ergonomic failure. Just think each time you have to bend to reach those switches!

Isnt the new instrument cluster looking too similar to the one in New WagonR? As for the steering, i feel it will carry design similar to one seen in Cruze.

Yes i felt the same when i saw it first in the pciture.

Okay any guesses on the pricing and launch dates? Guess both the siblings will be launched together.

Steering looks half-baked if particularly compared with Chevrolet Cruze. Overall Sail seems to be acceptable and decent enough.

350Z as I pointed out in my earlier post Sail is not a replacement for Aveo.The current Aveo would be replaced by the next gen Aveo which would hit the market before the sail.

Its called SONIC,unfortunately we wont get it
