Hello All,
I own a Chevy Beat Clocked 50K Recently, I love her a lot and till now never made me sad. But recently i had some major issues with my Chevy.
Model- Diesel-2012 September Model-BEAT LS
Steering was getting stuck while in stop position when I used to take a complete Turn.I had to push harder to make it release and same will happen during the complete turn as it was getting locked and unlocked while turning.
I checked my suspension and bearings and found all are perfect and diagnosed as a Steering Column issue as inside the steering column there is a sensor (STEERING TORQUE SENSOR), as Chevy has EPS (Electronic Power Steering). It is malfunctioning and giving uneven Volts to the motor.
But real headache is that Sensor is not available in Service Center of GM. Can any throw some lights on this..??
