Hmm.. No Akash!

Here are the figures from ARAI for Ritz.

RITZ (Petrol) - 17.7 kmpl

RITZ (Diesel) - 21.1 kmpl

Hope you got confused with A-star!

A-STAR (Petrol) - 19.6 kmpl

Nice report, as expected. Great work.[thumbsup]

But reality is different! Chevy has found a new place to position the rear door handles. They sit on just parallel to rear window and easily camouflages but the elder person and kids may find it difficult to use.
This is bad design. The rear view can not good.

Rear part of this Chevy is subjective and the styling resembles somewhat to the Maruti Suzuki’s Ritz.
My view, better than Ritz.

The dashboard illuminates blue at night giving a cool and calm feel and the most unique equipment inside is a revolutionary instrument cluster.
This is nice color for dashboard. Must be nice to see in night.
Can the brightness be changed?

It delivers 80.5bhp @ 6200rpm & a decent torque of 108Nm @ 4400rpm, Beat is more powerful compared to i10 by 0.5bhp but 4.5bhp lesser than Ritz.
Here it kills i10. Nice power for small car.

Just to bank on fuel efficiency, Chevy has brought down the tire size to 155mm which makes it under-tired and reflects the symptoms at high speed handling.
155mm is very small tyre. Whats the i10's tyre size though?

Are you sure? If yes, this will give good fight to Maruti & Hyundai.

i10 tyre size- 155/80 R13

Even i am surpised by your marking. Are Chevy guys really that good at A.S.S.?

Manufacturers has to give ARAI figure only. I beleive they can't claim any other FE figure.
Going forward, we might see markings on the engines.
I got confused with the Maruti Suzuki A-Star FE figures.

As far as I know there are no switches to control the illumination. But it will not glow to disturb/ distract the driving. It gets dimmed once you turn on parking / head lights.

Here it kills i10. Nice power for small car.
Though the refinement & power is high, taller gear ratios bring down the 0-100 figures down to greater extent!

i10 also has the same width tyres. But its comes with 155/80 R13.

Yes. GM has improved a lot by giving best inclass warranty unlike its competitors & the maintenance packages are all suprising! They are keen on capturing Younger India [cheers]

The gear slotted in properly without a miss in our long drive, 1st gear pulls in clean 40kmph moving further to a steep 90kmph in 2nd gear & 130kmph in 3rd gear. The 4th gear touches roaring speed of 153kmph where as the top gear continues to maintain the momentum. It has a decent ground clearance of 165mm which could probably take most roads in the city.
This will be excellent for city driving.[thumbsup]

The dashboard looks indeed nice with blue background when completely lit-up during night.

What was the issue with GM's After Sales & Servicing? In fact, they are quickly coping up with the competitors and offering attractive schemes. To say in my style, GM has caught the nerves of Indian Automobile Market.

As a result, Their every new launch is making people surprise due its highly competitive price and features, making it ultimate value for money.
