Chevrolet Aveo Radiator Cooling Problem

ok guys my aveo is 5 years now, clocked 1,41,000km.
At around 45000 km we had a head gasket replacement, along with head overhaul(no head issues, chevy said its mandatory)
Of late coolant has been overflowing from the radiator coolant reservoir, unlike other cars the aveo's coolant reservoir is a pressurized container, and coolant needed filling up every 3 days, so my driver to the car to a radiator specialist who found a leak on the drain plug of the radiator along with that they did radiator servicing and coolant filling, when the car came back i checked and was annoyed that he filled in a green color coolant instead of the red one chevrolet fills in. after a few days i started noticing when the engine is turned of the coolant starts overflowing from the cap, when i checked the cap i found it to be damaged the pressure release vents is just a hollow now, this morning i noticed lots of coolant flowing out, as soon as i started the car.
So i opened the cap and revved the engine and the coolant started gushing out along with lots of black dirt. Checked the oil seemed perfect the oil filler cap seemed perfect, then i checked the exhaust it had water droplets dripping of.

What do you guys think the problem is? I can't find a new coolant reservoir cap and have to buy the entire container for 1000 from chevrolet. Should i go ahead with changed the container first? or check further?

Take the car to the specialist
In here what they do is , they put one liquid in the car radiator and then they see where the leakage is from , usually ultraviolet illumuniation source they use.

if there is no leakage on the pipes, what it can be that your radiator is blocked , it could be dirt or maye be rusted parts.

Other problem with the coolants are the air bubbles. If you have air bubbles in some cars they tend to cause problems like leakage etc etc.

just a month back we had done a radiator servicing by which they open it up and clean through the passages etc. thorough leak test done but none found.

open the engine oil cap and see any sign of cream on it.
did you do the headgasket change on it? did you ever see any warnings on the engine regarding over heating ?

what does company recommend for coolant ?
have you called the company mechanics to see if the AIR bubbles do the harm?

the head gasket was changed at 45000km there was 1 radiator leak which was fixed and then one day bursted spilling all the coolant, and then another time the fan wasn't working, so head gasket change.
I've checked the oil filler cap no creamy substance there, just normal oil.
Bubles come up when you rev the engine and causes the coolant to gush out of the container.

What might be the problem is at higher temp there can be a crack on head ( waterbody ) that causes the water to spill ?

Nick, what happens in some cars in here is like you have to make sure there is no air at all in the radiator because more air = more steam = more chances of getting it spilled

fans not working ? that doesn't sound good at all man

i know that air locks can cause water to heat up, the radiator guy made sure of no air bubbles as he opened up the top most hose a bit while filling in the coolant.
In this past month i think my driver has topped up around 3 litres of diluted coolant.

Would a head gasket issue be repeated again? we never faced any overheating issues after the earlier change. Also if i press any coolant hoses it feels soft unlike before when hot it used to feel hard/pressurized.

are those cars having those gasket problems?
am sure there are some cars have different issues , its production flaw.

make sure thats okay and get that thorough checkup again bro

will do that, don't wanna shell up to much its anyways due to be replaced.
all i know about aveo is that they used to have pre-mature timing belt failures.

timing belts has to be replaced every 100,000 kms along with water pump

did you do yours

and is your radiator okay ?

do you have clutch fan for your car as well?

I've changed my timing belt at 55,000km and 1,15,000km chevrolet prescribed an interval of 60,000km but I've read quiet a few guys having their belts snap early.
no its an electronic fan.

radiayor is fine, just had lots of red mud in it, don't know how.

red mud ? as in rust?

hmm do a test again man . and check for leakage

and also get an aftermarket fan or 2

the fan works well just once the socket melted of. They don't sell those sockets need to buy the whole fan, so the wires have been coupled.
I did a check on red dust and found that the red coolant chevrolet uses tends to form this over time.
The radiator is aluminum as well as the engine can rust still be found?

wil anyways give it for a thorough check to an outside garage.

oh yeah i know they dont sell those sockets here too.

better change it. I need to add another fan on my radiator too. I got NISMO Radiator on my car. Yeah get it checked again.. fingers cross no cracks on head
