And fuel good question , but i din notice it! From seeing the third picture , i think the diesel filler is not in place , so maybe diesel?
I'm also guessing same but 1.5 DCi is India bound - so the real question is whether Petrol variant coming on our shores?

Thanks for the timely updates, as always. Renault claims that Fluence will be able to achieve mileage figures upto 21.8 Kmpl on Diesel and 13.4 Kmpl on Petrol (ARAI Certified). Also, the better part is that car is coming in both the transmission options, Auto and Manual. Up till now the package appears to be exciting but the actual challenge which Renault is yet to face will be when the question comes to after sales and dealership network.

Wow so many exciting launches up ahead![thumbsup]

If the above said FE figures are true then it surely is the most efficient vehicle in this segment.

Business Line : Companies News : Renault pads up for fresh start in India

Important excerpt from the article:

"The Fluence marks the real first phase of our innings here,” Mr Marc Nassif, Managing Director of Renault India, told Business Line.
"October will see the Koleos SUV make its debut though 2012 will be the ‘really important year' as it will see three new products hit the roads. These will include a hatchback in the B plus segment and, in all likelihood, the Dacia Duster SUV.

We are already working aggressively on the three cars coming into the market next year while getting everything in place for the Fluence and Koleos this year. The first phase will focus on high-end quality and visibility while 2012 will be about volumes,” Mr Nassif said.

This is suicidal pricing by Renault. There are many better options available in this price range. [thumbsdown]

Re: Can Renault Fluence ‘Influence’ the Indian Market?; Now Launched at Rs. 12.99 lac

IMHO diesel variant being a featureless package with boring interior may not withstand Cruze which has a more powerful engine.

Petrol variant with nice interior, gizmos & AT may offer some competition to Altis & Laura. But how many Indians will eventually pick a Renault over a Toyota/Skoda is to be seen.
