Bombay To Delhi Return Road Trip: Need Advice

Hi All,

I am planning a trip next month to Delhi from Bombay. While I am aware of the Google Map suggestions of routes - would be helpful to receive your suggestions. Ideally one would like to cover the distance in a couple of days with a halt midway. Night driving is not preferable.

Heard that now a days GJ highway is seeing too much truck traffic. Its better to stick Central India route Mumbai Nashik Indore Gwalior Agra Delhi.
If you start early from Mumbai then you can take first halt in Indore. On second day you can either reach Delhi or can halt in Agra
