BMW India will launch the second-generation of the X6 SUV on July 23, 2015. The car, that will face competition from Audi Q7, Mercedes-Benz ML-Class, Land Rover Range Rover Sport, and Porsche Cayenne.
The 2015 BMW X6 sheds 40Kgs as compared to the outgoing model, but continues to feature the 50:50 weight distribution. The new X6 SUV will come powered by a 3.0-litre 6-cylinder in-line diesel unit that delivers 313 horses along with 630Nm of maximum torque. It will be mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission that will transfer power to all wheels.
