Hi
I'm shashank i own Yamaha fz v2 (fi version) and I want to install a free flow exhaust.
In your opinion which is good leo vince gp corsa or Daytona?
Since i don't no much about the modification.
So if I Install a FFE in my bike does it need any tuning or just plug and play process?
FFE would not make much difference in Fi unless ECU is rigged since it is open loop.

Has somebody tried to upgrade FZ16 or FZS front tyre from 100/80-17 to 110/70-17 on the stock alloys.

If yes please revert with picture.

Better to stick with stock exhaust [lol]
And what's your opinion about yamalube FS ?
Yamalube FS and motul 5100 which is good?
Been using 5100 for long with intermediately 7100, but once started using Yamalube FS, been loving it. I used to change it every 2-2.5k km. Last time, had to use more than 3k km, and it was still surprisingly smoother. It was better smooth. Felt better than even 7100. Value for money also, cheaper than 5100. 5100 I used to change at 3-3.5k km.

(Use experience might differ in different situations, usage, climate, temperature, grade, etc.)

Yes currently I'm also using Yamalube FS gear shifts are smoother as compare to 5100.

Now it someone asks how is the Diablo Rosso.

Would simply show this [evil]. This is with mild roundabout cornering. Metzler like leech grip or even more.

Gave bike to Riders Garage, the same guy who fixed all the issues with PowerPig. Listens to the customer, understands and fixes every single problem. Wasn't expensive too. Barricade had unresolved tak sound from rear since delivery, asked every time at SVC as well as previous mechanic. He fixed it. Front brake calipers slids out of spring, which I tried fixing multiple times, which also got solved. Brother is planning a 1k km trip, so did not want to take risk with chain as it was making lot of noise. Changed it as well. Changed long due rear wheelbearings. By the by, gave him primarily for clutch overhaul for the trip.

Total bill: ₹ 3450.00 including parts and labor.

Approx parts breakup
Chain kit - ₹ 1,425.00
Damper Clutch - ₹ 100.00
Brake shoe kit - ₹ 306.00
Rear wheelbearing kit - ₹ 280.00 (3 pcs)

Oil and clutch plates provided by me adding another ₹1050.00 approx, making total ₹ 4600.00.

Jobs done:
- Engine reset. (Timing chain and valve install done previously was horrible).
- Valve clearance (A bit loosely set now, climbing rev easily).
- Clutch overhaul (60k on previous set).
- Chain sprocket (Did only 22k km on previous set, changed for trip, forgot to pick the old one).
- Rear wheelbearing.
- Brake shoes.
- Caliper issue fix.
- Tune up.

Bike is now butter smooth. No rattling or annoying sounds even dashing potholes. Accelerates really well, the best ever. Now happy in 60-70 range, no transitional vibrations. Tried 100, does without drama. Mileage back to 42 kmpl with a bit hard revving.

Was the timing chain tensioner changed?
Mine looks black and is held by allen bolts [roll]
Timing chain was replaced at around 1 L, then problem persisted. Then changed tensioner and valves. Done at Royal. Now no good. All referrals complaining.

My sprocket also on stainless steel Allen bolt. Stock bolt was lost once, since then using a bit longer Allen bolt. Got stainless steel one from KTM.
