Avan Motors India, a manufacturer of electric vehicles, plans to launch a completely new range of electric scooters, with what the company describes as 'cutting-edge digital tools and technology' that will transform the company's range of new electric scooters into 'smart scooters'. The company says Avan's range of electric scooters have running costs of only 10 per cent of a vehicle running on conventional fuels. Avan Motors also provides after-sales service to customers along with road side assistance, and extended warranty to the first batch of electric scooters. Avan already has the Xero + electric scooter in India, priced at ₹ 47,000 (ex-showroom).

Electric Scooter Manufacturer Avan Motors Rebranded As Nexzu Mobility

Avan Motors, a manufacturer of electric scooters in India, has changed its brand name and identity from January 2020, renaming itself as Nexzu Mobility. With the new name, the company intends to transform into an end-to-end electric mobility solutions brand. According to a statement, the company will not just transform the brand name, but also its existing product portfolio, logo, and market proposition. The company intends to establish itself as a significant player in electric mobility, with a mission towards becoming the country's most-preferred future mobility company.

Established in 2015, Avan Motors has already made a significant mark on the country's urban mobility space. Headquartered in Pune, Maharashtra, the company's manufacturing facility is spread over an area of 22,000 square feet and includes customer display and R&D centres. The company has 60 touch points across the country, and is planning to expand both its pan-India footprint, as well as product line-up.
