Auto Expo 2018: Maruti Suzuki Set To Launch SUV and Tata To Focus On Smart Mobility

Auto Expo is the event where the best of the best from the automotive industry in India show off their new technology and future cars giving us a glimpse of what to expect in the next years. The dates for this Delhi Auto Expo 2018 have been announced and the Motor Show has been scheduled from February 9-14 at India Expo Mart in Greater Noida. And this time it’s Maruti Suzuki and Tata Motors, two of India's top four automakers, are gonna be show stoppers as they provided a glimpse of their offerings at the upcoming Auto Expo which kicks off next month.

Car market leader Maruti Suzuki will showcase Future S concept, a compact car designed on the lines of a sports utility vehicle (SUV). The car will have an upright stance giving a higher seating and ground clearance. If we believe C V Raman, senior executive director (engineering), Maruti Suzuki India, he has said- It will have a “horizontal hood giving it an aggressive stance”.

Where as, Tata Motors, India's fourth-largest car maker will put the propulsion on smart mobility in vehicles keeping in line with the government's vision for future mobility solutions.

The company will be showcasing 26 smart mobility solutions across its passenger and commercial vehicle categories for the people. Tata Motors has led the mobility space in the country by bringing global innovations and this year will be focusing on this aspect.

The Components Show will be held at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi from February 08th-11th, 2018. So stay tuned and all excited because this will be nothing less than a sneak peak in the future for everyone.

Let's guess a hatchback, CSUV, and a daddy SUV, happy days @team Tata.
X451, Jeep Compass Rival & Land Rover based new Tata Safari. Sir, this is all because of the timely innovation by TML i.e understanding the market's actual product requirements.

What about the Tiago/Tigor Sport?
As per the info shared, there will be 26 new products on display by TML @ Expo 2018. Could be possible that a sports variant of Tiago & Tigor will also be there.

Looks like TATA will be the first to unveil starting from 19-23rd Jan!
From the above I can make out the following possibilities:

1) X451 possibly on 19th

2) Jeep Compass Rival Or The New Tata Safari on 21st

3) Tigor Sport on the 23rd

They have 26 cars including variants to display at the expo. Sport variants may also be shown along with Nexon AMT. Maybe they will also showcase Racemo as well. Tiago/ Tigor S are suppose to get detuned Nexon engines. Jayem JV is meant for much more performance oriented cars. I maybe completely wrong. Anyway happy days ahead.

This is on their FB page, thanks for the link, last time they had the Nexon on their stall, look at the footfalls in their showrooms since it's launch.

Cheers Team Tata.
