It is that time of the year when drivers have to deal with an abundance of children walking to and from school. To avoid accidents, drivers should take more care and be extra cautious and alert especially while driving around schools. Parents should keep certain rules in mind while walking and driving their kids to school. It is always advisable to walk your child to the bus stop and back.

If you ride to school in a school bus, you should always be on time. You should stay in your seat and avoid pushing and shoving. Teen drivers should take extra precautions while driving to school and back. Talking and texting on the cell phone while driving should be strictly prohibited. Any type of earphones should not be used while driving. A very simple and important safety driving tip is to remember to pay full attention. Many accidents occur due to driver inattention and carelessness like applying makeup, changing the radio station and focusing on other things rather than vehicles and pedestrians in the area.

Appreciate your timely words of caution, but I am not sure if your message is getting to the ones that need it. Here is why:

- unlike the western hemisphere, zoning/demarkation of towns and cities has not taken place in India
- the audience for your message is not the target user base of this forum (which I believe is college going guys who are 18+ at the least)

Anyway, what you have posted is a a precious and possibly life saving advice and any criticism will not take it's value away.
