A warm hi to all fellow TAIgers !
The name's Ayon and I'm a sailor. An engineer working on ships.
Cars had been my passion since i learnt to drive in class 5. (as soon as i was tall enough to reach the pedals ). We were a resident of the coalfields surrounding Raniganj/Asansol that time and my driving consisted of taking the car out of the garage and again back inside Learnt to drive on a ambassador and then onwards to trucks and then on to the earth moving equipments.
We've since 2007 shifted to Kolkata. I've just taken the delivery of the new tata Zest this month. Having owned a Xeta and a Vista from Tatas I must say the Zest has come a long way. Used to drive a Ambassador before the Indica Xeta . A Safari had always been my dream but with road space at a premium on Kolkata roads, a smaller car made more sense.
Looking forward to meeting more petrolheads here.
