hey raj
crossovers are these coils ?

do crossovers act as small amps??
does a set of component speakers include 2 crossovers 2 tweeters and 2 midbass

yes, comp speakers are better for sound quality. the pic is of a crossover, it is not an amp. it enables the installer to fine tune the frequencies going to the midbass & the tweeter this producing cleaner sound.

you are right about the contents of a component set, that is the reason comps are more expensive.

midbass is the lower/bigger speaker in the door of my car in the pic above.

went to the local car accesory shop.
he showed me pioneer ts a1702c told me 5000 rupees for fitting and all included .
has anyone installed the above pioneer speakers in their car?? any reviews for the above speakers??
which ones are better between sony and pioneer??
he showed me sony XS-GT16212S costing 4500 rs
i am really confused which speakers to go in for?
installing component speakers will bring considerable amount of change in the sq of my system?
said jbl had only 1 or 2 models that too around 3500 rs?

i wont recommend the sony XS-GT16212S. i have not heard the pioneer but its power output of 50W is too less. i assume JBL would be better.

by the way, if JBL is cheaper, why not consider it?

Vishal, i googled it.

JBL site does show the MRPs. but in the market, you would get it at a lower price than listed in the website.

India JBL

JBL GTO 608C is not listed in the website. last heard, they costed some 4.5 to 5k.

okay guys i can extend my budget to 6000 rs not one rupee more.
or else i will have to drive my car without disel :lol!:
now what i am asking how do i spend it to get the most out of it i wont be able to get more money than this for atleast 6 months.
what should i buy first component speakers or co axial speakers?
i already have 4 speakers and 2 company fitted tweeters which are okay but not for some audiophile like me .
i dont wanna buy 4 speakers at once because that means my stock speakers will go in waste .
i was thinking to go for 2 speakers then an amp then a sub .
i am really confused what should i do??:please:
