A Weekend Long Trip To Sikkim

Please rest assured that you will enjoy this route. At present the only pain in this route is the stretch of the road lying in the state of Jharkhand. But traffic is much less than NH 34 and nothing you can not manage with little patience and careful driving. And once you are in Bihar the roads are great. I am also told that there is even a bypass road being built in Bhagalpur, which will possibly be ready by the Puja. But please drive in this road only during the day.

Just now got chance to check your thread and It was really great to read this (you did not disappoint at all).
Nice writeup and great pictures. I was in Gangtok for around 6 months in 2002 and it is really good to see nice pictures of sikkim again.
