The Honda CB300R has radical new styling in-line with the bigger Honda CB1000R, and the design is based on the Honda Neo Sports Cafe concept, a neo-retro, cafe racer concept. Now, HMSI has announced that the Honda CB300R will be available on sale in India, and assembled here from completely knocked down (CKD) units. Bookings are already open at select Honda dealerships for ₹ 5,000 and the CB300R will be priced below ₹ 2.5 lakh (ex-showroom).

With pricing of 2.77L INR, it feels way expensive considering that only advantage we get paying this price is Honda's engine refinement.

To be honest BMW G310R is 22K INR cheaper than Honda CB300R, I can see many people in metro cities migrating to BMW just for it's logo.

KTM RC200 (2.08L INR), Yezdi Adventure (2.1L INR), RE Himalayan (2.15L INR), Dominar 400 (2.17INR), KTM D250 (2.28L INR), KTM 250 ADV (2.3L INR), BMW G310R (2.5L INR), TVS RR310 (2.54L INR) & KTM RC390 (2.77L INR) are direct competitors and some of them make more cense over CB300R.
