Hi Shivmagesh,
Welcome Onboard to TAI group. Below were the details of my RX135,
Tyres : MRF.
Battery : Exide (Dont go for Amaron, it will not work for RX Bikes).
Spark Plug : Bosch.
Engine Oil : Castrol 20/40 always.

Above mentioned were only the details of my ride and its just a suggestion for you. Try analysing further and proceed your Restoration.
So Hows is the Engine? Whether you are going to rework that too?

Any specific reason? I'm sung AMARON in one of my RX and the other is running with AMCO and I don't find any issues with them. Earlier before restoration I was using a 3 year old AMCO battery without any problem (both in terms of charging and output)

yes,due to some noise we are forced to work on engine too

Confused!! Which color should I go with?
1) Blue - matching the body color
2) Silver - matching the YAMAHA & YEIS stickers

Hi Mr.Boss,
In Bangalore(Singasandra) and Hosur the dealer of Amaron refused to give the batteries for RX bikes. They got many complaints and since its replaceable warranty, all the time they replaced it seems.
It will be a loss to them and for that only they are not offering here.

It is more than 8 months without any updates on this thread.
Almost an year passed after restoration and bike clocked only 3k km (blame the other RX couples and Sunny) Now it's time to do something on the bike. Safety first, and to start with the brakes. Upgrading to Front Disc Brake very soon (after completing the pulsar project) All necessary parts procured long back and kept idle do to various commitments. Watch out for more upgrades [:)]

Do you know of any shop that can ship RX135 parts to Singapore?
I'm not sure if you could get parts from India to Singapore. RX is so popular in South-East Asian countries and why don't you try sourcing from Malaysia / Indonesia?

I got some free time to work on my RX again.

Oil pump was leaking and I couldn't get the oil seal for a while. A couple of weeks back when we went around hunting parts for RX100 restoration, fortunately we got a couple of oil seals. Last evening I opened the Oil pump and found oil is leaking at both the oil seals and packing.

Pump taken out

Dismantled it completely and cleaned them with petrol.

Assembled them back, fitted to the vehicle and confirmed it is working well[:)] Let me monitor for few hundred kms and keep this thread updated.
