It seems you will like the dark theme from 2nd generate xuv then. However everyone that I've met loves the biscuit/walnut interior which is no Longer available.

Well its not that i did not liked the walnut cream interiors but am the one who loves all black theme so yeah that would make this machine give awesome interiors. Was a bit let down with the quality of plastic used but overall happy with the ride and experience with few hours in my hands.

It has been a few months that I am getting smell & Dust inside the cabin. MASC tried high and low but could not trace it. However, They did not check one place.
Cowl is the area where Air intakes for Cabin located. Its a known that these small flaps that control Fresh air Mode, often fail. Either open or closed.
I want to inspect them. Perhaps Seal them permanently.

Yes sir ,have done that already, just for the heck of it, in 2015 itself.
Did not take pics then.
Its fairly straightforward. Remove the wipers > remove the touch-buttons holding the cowl plastic > remove the rubber beading in front of the cowl cover > pull out the whole assembly in one piece.
And just the reverse order while putting it back.

Thats great. Did you notice any significant improvement after sealing the vents? And what did you seal them with?

My purpose was never to seal the vents.I did it only out of curiosity, because I had already done it successfully in my swift and ritz.
Moreover I wanted to clean the dust and leaves and rat potty from that area.I was also hunting for rust spots,as in my ritz and swift this area collected water and was happily rusting away to eternity.Thankfully in XUV no such RUST was found. It was only dust and rat potty. So I cleaned the area thoroughly and put it all back up.
I left the vents as such.

Doc, on one side there are dual arm wiper with round caps to access the wiper stick Nut. On other side there is no such cap to open the wiper. How to open these?

Driver side is easy as you have to remove the rubber cap and the nut on the driver side.
On the passenger side you have to remove the base of the twin arms. Both the twin arms will come out.Alternatively you may try to remove the wiper only, but in my case I removed from the base itself.
I am posting some pics pointing by my fingers, where you can lift the wiper, after rubber cap removal.
Sorry for the dirty car ,as it has been raining in my city continuously for the past 3 days.

itself.

ODO 90.2K Kms

After a real long time had a 200KM Long trip in XUV.
1. Feels Noiser These days. Puzzled as I generally Travel in Safari which is known for Higher NVH. Maybe it was the poor roads.
Poor Travel comfort on Bad roads was quite evident.

2. Infotainment Restarted once. But no Major Niggles to report.

3. With this much pollution I wonder what stupid diesel bans would help. Look at the amount of dust! And the somewhat Leaky XUV did not help matters.

4. This 14th feb, I gifted my Thunderbolt a worthy Gift which was long due. Got the underbody coating done at Waxpol Guys. Cost was Total 2600. Guys did a fine job in nooks & Crevices. Please excuse the horrible Mobile pics. It was very difficult to get a good focus.
