I own a 1998 model Maruti Gypsy. The vehicle has been giving me great fun and service all these years. For the last few months or so, the engine heats up during idling in traffic or traffic light and almost touches the H level in the gauge. This was never experienced before. Recently I had got the engine head overhauled and also complete general service. But the engine heating during idling continues. The coolant, radiator etc are all ok.
Can someone suggest where exactly is the problem ..

Have you checked the radiator fan? it may be broken or fuse may be blown. Also you must check the thermostat because it may be stuck on close position and change the coolant if you haven't do it on the lasts years (you can put pressure on the coolant pipes with the garden hose to see if it gets out or how dirty is it)

get your radiator checked if its ok and coolant is not old then only thing remain is your fan either thermostat is not working properly or fan
