This vacuum brake boosters are another thing that I find is dangerous if proper precautions are not followed. Because they need the engine running in order to work. Particularly occurs in scenarios where 1. you are parked in an incline and you press the brake pedals and release the parking brake before starting the engine ,brakes wont work and the car will roll down. 2. If you are in a traffic jam while going up on a bridge and suddenly your engine fails to start then you roll backwards which you cant stop easily 3. people who shut their engines while rolling down an incline - very dangerous.
Technology should improve the braking with the engine in off condition too.
