Headlight Wire Loom Cracking

I have a unique problem that I discovered. While changing halogen drl to led I noticed the wire was cracking open due to age. Please look at the pic. is it safe to carry on or will there be risk of fire? Please advice.

1) Which car is this?
2) How old it is?

Highly risky, at least get it wrapped with insulation tape before you get them changed.

It is Risky, change those wires at the earliest.
The Engine bay looks dirty, also get the Engine bay cleaned, you may come across other problems too.

Its not good. atleast get it taped in short term. And replace the entire socket/loom asap.

But is there really a risk of fire? If the wires are exposed shouldn’t just the fuse go bad? I mean that is what fuses are for right?
