Hyundai Creta Not Starting. Tick Tick Noise (Video)

My creta 1.4 had some starting problem. Weird ticking noise when trying to start as can be seen in video link below.

My dad had got the inner engine bay area cleaned so thats the cause.
What could be the problem?

Starter must have failed
Im guessing when you turn the key, it doesnt even attempt to crank and stays off and you can hear tick tick from engine bay

I also faced this issue with my Ritz (now sold) 1.5 years back
Got it fixed from local garage for 2.4k

Incidently my Ritz had also gotten its engine bay cleaned, maybe it shorted something

Id suggest seeing how much a new starter costs from Hyundai, otherwise get it fixed locally

Small fix, takes 20 mins tops

HI Puneet,

Its contactor coil noise.the stater will start only when the contactor pins-in then only the starter starts the motor so may be water has clogged in the Contactor so have look with the ASS so that they will suggest what to do!!!!

while cleaning the engine bay some electronic part need to covered to prevent this type of issue.
