Clutch Engages Suddenly on Tata Nano

Hi All

I am facing a small issue with my nano that when releasing clutch it engage suddenly like
i am releasing clutch pedal after engaging gear then nothing ... nothing ... nothing .... boom & clutch engage fully & car jump all of sudden, as i am a experienced driver so i manage to drive but my father & my wife learning on Nano & they are facing lot of problems, while i give my Ertiga to my wife one day & she drive it very easily.

I am but confused with issue as TASS says that clutch is fine. is anyone face such issue.
Plz suggest some solution. i have already try by adjusting clutch many times.

Check the clutch release bearing. becuase of clutch bearing issue, The clutch disc will disengage at random points while driving, cause the transmission to "slip".

1. how old is your car
2. get clutch wire checked may be its getting kinked somewhere or stuck somewhere, if so then get it changed or greased if ok then get clutch bearing checked.

hopefully ur problem will be solved with this. as you have already mentioned that u have shown it to TASS so try some other TAS station.

issue resolved as i change everything related to clutch
1. clutch + pressure plate
2. clutch wire
3. release bearing

one more issue found during clutch change. that is with axle, both axle are slightly loose & making noise when changing gear or releasing clutch. axle changed under warranty. now car running fine. total expense is Rs : 3300.
